Reddit grew its number of monthly users in 2019 to reach 430 million, up from 330 million the previous year and surpassing both Twitter and LinkedIn for the second consecutive year.

Beauty & Style, Food, News, and Family & Parenting communities created the most buzz with big upticks in membership and posts, with some subreddits, like the wedding-focused r/bridezillas, growing by over 850% since the previous year.

Social media analytics leader Brandwatch provided insights into how Reddit drives conversations about gaming, sports, and food in Reddit's 2019 Year in Review.
